We took a trip out to the Queens Museum to check out "welcome to what we took from is the state", an exhibit in collaboration with the South Asian Women's Creative Collective (SAWCC).
It's a small show with powerful messages. It really is great to see organizations like SAWCC give South Asian women a platform to come together and share their work. We need more of this!
The exhibit runs till April 2. A closing reception will be held on 4/2 from 4-6pm. Get more info here.
